Searching
You can enter any portion of the decedent name or case number to search for matching cases
When the [Advanced Case Filter] options are chosen, the search feature will respect those options. So, for example, if you have chosen to "Exclude Locked Cases", and you search for cases with the name "Davis", any case with the name "Davis" that is Locked will not show in the search results. This is important to keep in mind when searching for cases as you may need to change your options back to [ALL Cases] to find the case you are searching for.
Advanced Case Filter
You can specify additional options to change the list of cases displayed
[Exclude Locked Cases] will hide locked (closed) cases in the list
[Case Creator] drop down - select All or a specific user to show only those cases in the list
Sorting
You can click any column header to sort A to Z on that column
Click the same column header a second time to reverse sort ( Z to A ) on that column
Delete
option is only available to Administrators and requires a double confirmation before a case is deleted
View Mode
Opening a cause using the "view" option (to the far right) will open the case in read-only mode, which can be useful for quickly reviewing a case. Data cannot be changed when a case is opened in View Mode.
Locked Cases
Cases that are locked (closed) will display the lock icon in the far right column. Clicking a locked case will open it in View Mode and data cannot be changed when a case is locked. Only the Administrator may unlock a case.
