Administration FAQ Field Forms Menus Messages Reports Tab UtilitiesStep by Step - Sync and Certify a Case in eVitals via the EDX Bridge¶
Your personal PA eVitals Username and Access Token are used to transmit Death Record data from Forensic Filer to the PA eVitals system via the EDX Bridge ¶
Note: When you Sync a Case to eVitals, your eVitals Username, along with your Access Token are encrypted and used to establish the connection to the PA eVitals system. The Death Record details are transmitted from Forensic Filer to the PA eVitals system using your EDX credentials. To ease the use of the EDX Bridge Sync feature, Forensic Filer stores your Username and Access Token in your profile so that you don't have to enter them each time you sync. Also be aware that the PA eVitals system only allows a user to be logged in once at any given time, so if you are logged into the eVitals system and you sync a case from Forensic Filer, your active eVitals session will be terminated, requiring you to login again to Certify the case in eVitals.
