How to locate your EDX Username and Access Token in eVitals¶
Your personal PA eVitals Username, along with your Access Token is used to transmit Death Record data from Forensic Filer to the PA eVitals system via the EDX Bridge
In general, your EDX Username should not change
However, for security purposes, the PA Department of Health has set your Access Token to expire every 60 days, which means you will need to update your Access Token in Forensic Filer each time your previous token expires.
The PA Department of Health eVitals system should notify you by email 5 days before your token expires AND another email on the day your token expires.
Steps To locate your EDX Username and Access Token¶
1. Login to the eVitals System in a separate Browser window
2. After login, click on the [Gear] icon at the top right of the screen to go to your eVitals EDX Profile
3. On your [My Profile] page, find your [Access Token] and your [SSO Login ID], which is your EDX Username to use in Forensic Filer
